Joint Agency Work

As many of you will be aware, there has been significant recent coverage regarding anti‑social behaviour across Thanet, particularly on our beaches. Kent Police remains fully committed to tackling this behaviour and ensuring these public spaces are safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Today, Neighbourhood Officers have been out across Thanet alongside colleagues from Trading Standards, Immigration, and Licensing. Together, we have been visiting local shops to offer advice around alcohol sales and to provide reassurance that all agencies are working closely to support our communities.

Alcohol often plays a major role in fuelling anti‑social behaviour, and these joint interventions are an important part of preventing issues before they escalate.
